Frequently Asked Questions

Why are buffalo steak strips good for dogs with allergies?
Buffalo is a novel protein that most dogs have never been exposed to, making it ideal for dogs with allergies or sensitivities to common meats like beef, chicken, or pork. The hypoallergenic nature and 100% natural ingredients with no artificial preservatives or flavours make these strips perfect for dogs with food sensitivities.

How do buffalo steak strips support heart health and cognitive function?
Buffalo meat is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for heart health and cognitive function. These healthy fats support cardiovascular health, brain development, and mental sharpness. Regular consumption can contribute to improved overall health and vitality, especially in senior dogs.

Why is buffalo leaner than beef or pork?
Buffalo meat is naturally leaner than beef or pork, with only 0.6% fat compared to higher fat content in traditional meats. This makes buffalo steak strips a healthier alternative for dogs on weight management programs or those requiring low-fat diets, while still providing exceptional protein and essential nutrients.

How do buffalo steak strips promote a shiny coat?
The omega-3 fatty acids in buffalo meat support healthy skin and a shiny, lustrous coat. These essential fatty acids nourish skin from within, reducing dryness and promoting coat health. Regular feeding can result in a noticeably shinier, healthier-looking coat.

Are buffalo steak strips suitable for puppies?
Yes! Buffalo steak strips are suitable for puppies from 8 weeks old. The ultra-high protein content supports healthy growth and development, while the lean nature ensures puppies get quality nutrition without excess fat. The essential B vitamins, calcium, and Vitamin D support bone strength and energy levels. Always supervise puppies when chewing.
