Frequently Asked Questions

How long will a pig snout last?
Chew duration varies by dog and chewing style. Most medium to large dogs enjoy 30-90 minutes of chewing time. The unique cartilage texture provides extended entertainment compared to softer treats. Power chewers may finish faster, while gentle chewers can enjoy these for longer. Perfect for keeping dogs occupied and satisfied.

What makes pig snouts different from other pork chews?
Pig snouts have a unique shape and texture that sets them apart from ears or other pork chews. The distinctive cartilage provides a satisfying crunch that dogs find irresistible. The natural contours help clean teeth from multiple angles as dogs chew. The rich flavor from 26.2% fat makes them highly palatable and rewarding.

Are pig snouts suitable for all dog sizes?
Pig snouts are best suited for medium to large dogs (10kg+). The size and texture provide appropriate chewing time for larger dogs. For small dogs under 10kg, supervise closely as the size may be challenging. The substantial nature makes these particularly satisfying for dogs who love to chew.

How do pig snouts help with dental health?
The unique shape and crunchy cartilage texture provide excellent mechanical cleaning action. As dogs chew, the natural contours help scrape away plaque and tartar from multiple angles. The extended chewing time means more thorough dental cleaning. The cartilage also massages gums, promoting healthy blood flow and gum tissue.

Are pig snouts suitable for dogs with allergies?
Yes! Pork is a novel protein that is ideal for dogs with common protein allergies to chicken, beef, or lamb. The single-ingredient formula with no grains or additives makes these perfect for sensitive digestion and elimination diets. The hypoallergenic nature makes them excellent for dogs with food sensitivities.
