Frequently Asked Questions
Why are pork belly treats so high-value?
Pork belly is naturally rich and fatty, delivering an intense flavour that dogs find extremely rewarding. The high fat content makes these treats particularly motivating for training, especially in challenging or distracting environments.
How should I use pork belly treats for training?
Break into small pea-sized pieces for training sessions. The 100g pack provides approximately 80-100 high-value training rewards. Use sparingly for maximum impact - these are best reserved for challenging training scenarios or exceptional behaviour.
Can I feed these to dogs on a diet?
Due to the high fat content (35%), these treats are best used sparingly for dogs on weight management programmes. Use tiny pieces for training and adjust main meals accordingly. For regular training, consider our lower-fat options like Lamb Lung Lites.
Ingredients
100% Pork Belly (air-dried)
Feeding Guidelines
Suitable for dogs over 12 weeks old. Feed sparingly due to high fat content. Always supervise your dog when feeding treats. Ensure fresh water is available at all times. This product is a complementary treat and should not replace a complete, balanced diet. Adjust main meals accordingly when feeding treats.
